Canvas for Mum

I found a lovely challenge blog; A Vintage Journey. Their theme is celebrate and thought that I'd have a go with a canvas. I think this is my second, love the size that allows much more to be made. The canvas is for Mum to celebrate her, she's got the big C. A Vintage Journey also has a very special Christmas Give-Away

I used:
Tim Holtz flower dies, flourish mask, honeycomb stencil, Distress inks, Distress Crackle paint, Liquid pearls and silver Perfect Pearls, stamps
Cottage Cuts flourish die, Prima Marketing beads, Liquitex modelling paste, Itsy Bitsy stamens and embossing folder.

White Stampin' for Craft Stamper

I'm honoured to be a Guest Designer at the Craft Stamper Challenge, they want to see some white stamping.

Simon Says Stamp: Bling it on and Kaiser craft
Crafty Catz Weekly Challenge: Last minute Christmas
Fab'n' Funky: Christmas

Materials used:
I used a neglected Penny Black image, Berry Branch and my homed stamp-a-magic. I stamped the image first with white Color Box ink and the moved the stamp-a-magic just a few millimeters. I guess you could use a T shaped ruler if you have one and line up your stamp. The second imprint was made with black Archival ink. Then the image was heat embossed with extra fine clear powder.

The background was sponged with blue Distress ink hues, layer them up to create depth. The image was cut out with a Nestie label and the edges were coloured with a black Memento ink. I sponged the distress inks once again. The Penny Black clear stamp stars were stamped with white Color Box ink and some Stickles were added to get that frosty look.

The gems are Kaiser Kraft. Some of the embossing powder went rouge, but it looks like snow adrift.

Thank you so much for visiting, it's much appreciated! I'll make some blog hopping tomorrow, this week has taken it's toll, one more week before I can put my feet up and munch some Christmas choccies.

Things With Wings

This week we're having a fabby theme at the Sweet Stampin' Challenge; Things With Wings. It could be angels, birds, butterflies...whatever stamp you have with wings. I believe I even have a clock image with wings somewhere.  Is sweet Tilda a well dressed angel?! We're being sponsored by Stamp & Create, so dig out your winged stamps and join us.

Cute Card Thursday: Little Angels
Simon Says Stamp: Christmas/Holidays

Materials used:
Tilda image coloured with Aqua Markers and Derwent inktense and watercolour pens, Stickles for glitter, white Sakura pen for highlighting, gesso for fur trimmings. I stamped the huge Christmas present with a small Penny Black stamp with white ink and added some Star dust Stickles and sealed with Glossy Accents. The image was layered with 3D squares.

The white panels were made with Liquitex modelling paste and a That Special Touch stencil.

Nestie circle dies and sentiment stamp that brings Christmas wishes in Swedish, can't remember the make of it.

Have a wonderful weekend!
